Android 6 (or Android Marshmallow) Setup Issues

Follow

With the release of this version of Android we're seeing many customers with difficulties setting up their Pipers.  This is due to a change made in the Android OS which automatically switches a mobile phone off of a network that it detects has no Internet service, such as the Piper wi-fi AP that you need to connect to during setup.

Our Android development team has come up with a solution to this problem, but it may require you to 'forget' the Piper wi-fi access point if it's saved in your wi-fi list.

In your phone go to Settings, click on Wi-Fi, scroll through the list until you find Piper, tap and hold the Piper Wi-Fi access point until you see the below screen:

Select forget network and exit your phone's settings, you will be able to proceed with setup now.
